Please look through our schedule and events and come join us.  We have a variety of yoga classes from Scaravelli Inspired Hatha Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow,  Power Yoga, Heart Yoga: The sacred marriage of yoga and mysticism,  Over 60's - Super Gentle, Beginner Yoga, Family, Teens, and Kids.   We also offer Kettlebells, Pilates, Rebirthing - Breath work classes.  Classes at Cerca Trova Yoga are yoking, bringing together,  the mind, body and soul so our spirit can shine through.  We do this through repetitively seeking and finding.

Every February Yosemite waterfall turns to lava

YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, Calif. (AP) — A window of time just opened in Yosemite National Park when nature photographers wait, as if for an eclipse, until the moment when the sun and earth align to create a fleeting phenomenon.

This marvel of celestial configuration happens in a flash at sunset in mid-February — if the winter weather cooperates. On those days the setting sun illuminates one of the park's lesser-known waterfalls so precisely that it resembles molten lava as it flows over the sheer granite face of the imposing El Capitan.

Every year growing numbers of photographers converge on the park, their necks craned toward the ephemeral Horsetail Fall, hoping the sky will be clear so they can duplicate the spectacle first recorded in color in 1973 by the late renowned outdoors photographer Galen Rowell.

"Horsetail is so uniquely situated that I don't know of any other waterfall on earth that gets that kind of light," said Michael Frye, who wrote the book "The Photographer's Guide to Yosemite."

Cerca Trova is Italian for "Seek & You Shall Find."   I loved this passage from A Course in Miracles.   Seek & You Shall Find.  "This does not mean that you should seek blindly and desperately for something you would not recognize.  Meaningful seeking, is consciously undertaken, consciously organized, and consciously directed.   The goal must be formulated clearly and kept in mind."

Perhaps, when you start your yoga journey, you will seek blindly and possible desperately but over time your practice will come from a more aware/conscious place and you will begin to see more clearly and not feel so desperate.   Remember walking through the door can be the hardest part.
